Here's a summary of my time at OA (Opera Australia):
Day 1:
Did a tour of the building, spent two hours whiting out score of Don Giovanni, looked at a singing rehearsal for "La Traviata". :)
Julie's really nice. (Julie as in Julie Pritchard who's my "supervisor") she's kinda short, got short orangey-blonde hair, a sharpish nose and animated cheekbones. (I'm bad at describing people...) ...anyways.
Day 2:
Arrived super super early after turning up at symphony, rehearsal with the chorus for Turandot (even *tried* singing along :P), got some free brochures, helped out with surtitles and watched the Melbourne cup. :)
Day 3:
Sang in Turandot rehearsal again (gradually liked it more :)), did 10 minutes of whiting out, stuffed envelopes, photocopied original parts for Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet" :D
Day 4:
AOBO rehearsal, more photocopying. Bye Julie. :(
Day 5:
Traviata rehearsal, lunch with friends, photocopying.
So, that's about it. :)
